Dear Patients,
I want to thank you for allowing my staff and I to be your healthcare providers over the last twenty plus years. As I move forward in my later years of practice, I look forward to continuing to care for you for some time to come. To enable us to concentrate better on our patient care I have come to the conclusion I will need help with the day-to-day business side of things. As most of you know going from solo practice to a clinic model is something I do not take lightly. The decision has been made with much thought and prayer. After several months of discussion with my wife, Shannon and with our staff Meghan and Amanda we have chosen to partner with Praxis Health.
Praxis Health seems like the right fit for us. They are a family owned and operated business, with a like-minded patient centered clinic model. They will give us the ability to continue to see patients in a timely manner with the potential to make that even better. Their commitment to keep our office culture unchanged, for our staff to stay intact, and to make this endeavor a true partnership sets them apart from other models. We anticipate you will find this partnership a good fit.
As we move forward with this change, we want to make it as smooth as possible. As with any new endeavor there will be some adjustments and hiccups along the way. The office will be adjusting to a new electronic medical record, a new scheduling program, new phones, a new name “Albany Primary Care” and maybe a new face or two at times. To start we will be staying in our current location and will continue to have the same phone number. Down the road we will be looking for a new place to call home and grow in. Through all of this we will strive to continue the care and family feel you have come to know and expect from us. Never hesitate to call and let us know if you have any concerns.
